A brief history of the Chicago & North Western route from Beloit to Winona:

08/20/21

This historic Stone Arch crosses Spring Creek in Lodi.
The bridge has a recorded build date of 1888, although further research shows that it was expanded in 1896.
The arch is massive, one of several along this route featuring the double arch design.
However, because of the brush, it is obscured. Another large stone arch exists near this bridge, within a hundred feet.
